The Polish community in Australia is one of the country's oldest and most established migrant communities, with roots stretching back to the post-war settlements of the 1940s and 50s. Yet despite generations of presence and contribution, the community has lacked a single, central place to find out what's happening — when the next Polish festival is on, where the nearest Polish school is, which Polish businesses operate in your state.
Polonia Hub fills that gap. As Australia's first national Polish-Australian directory, it brings together events, organisations, businesses, and resources across all eight states and territories — in both English and Polish — so the community can find each other and grow together.
The platform was built by the Polish Australian Youth Gathering (PAYG), with one principle in mind: meet people where they are. Older Polish migrants on Facebook, second and third generation Polish-Australians on Instagram, newer arrivals searching in Polish — all should be able to find Polish life in Australia in one place, in their preferred language.
This is just the beginning. The directory will grow with the community, story by story, event by event, organisation by organisation.
